There are circumstances where having a criminal record may affect your future career in the public sector. If you have a criminal record, you may be eligible to attend the course, but once completed, your career options in the public services may be limited as a direct result of the offence committed. You are not required to complete a Criminal Record Bureau check to attend this type of course, but you may wish to speak with a Student Services Adviser in confidence about whether your criminal record would limit your career options. You can call 01244 834511 or visit in person at Deeside College.
