Name: Tom Trinkl
Course: Prospects – Skills for Life & Work
Where are they now?: Exercise and Fitness NVQ Level 2 – Deeside College
"I have been at Deeside College for a few years now, progressing from the Prospects course to a Level 1 and now Level 2 in Exercise and Fitness. In the future I am also looking into completing a business qualification, with a view to running my own leisure centre.
I personally found that I was a lot more suited to college than school. As soon as I came here I was treated like an adult and was shown suppor t from tutors who made an effort to understand me. I now have great relationships with my tutors and find the teaching methods that they use really effective."
