We offer a range of Health & Social Care courses that will prepare you for work within the sector. You will take part in work placements to gain experience that will help you when you move on to look for employment. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate the potential to work independently and safely in a range of different settings.

As you are likely to take part in work experience which involves either children or vulnerable adults as part of all these courses, you will need to complete an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. If you have a criminal record, you may still gain a place on the course, it depends on the nature and background of any offence. Gina is a Midwife and Registered General Nurse who trained at Manchester University. She worked as a Health Care Professional for 10 years in busy General and Maternity Hospitals before coming to here as Course Tutor for Vocational A Levels in Health & Social Care.
