Art, Design and Media
Studying an Art, Design and Media course will introduce you to a broad spectrum of practical skills and creative processes. You will explore a range of specialist subjects: Art - painting, sculpture and drawing/mixed media. Design - visual communications, fashion textiles and 3-D /spatial design. Media - animation, film and photography. You will have your own workplace alongside specialist studios and you’ll be given time to learn, investigate, experiment and reach your creative potential.

"My job involves liaising with fabric suppliers, selecting fabrics for well-known retailers such as John Lewis and Next and researching design trends. My job has also given me the opportunity to travel globally.
The experience and skills I gained at college gave me the confidence to select a university and course that suited my strengths. I was given the perfect introduction to all areas of art and design and became familiar with creative briefs and working to produce finished articles to deadlines."
