Where are they now?

Name: Cara Smith
Course: Business Administration
Where are they now?: Modern Apprentice Trainee, Flintshire County Council

"I am currently undertaking a Modern Apprenticeship within the Economic Development offices of the local council, which means that I am completing my training whilst employed in an administration position. My role includes minute taking, document preparation, word processing and stock maintenance.

The course I took at Deeside College allowed me to apply for this traineeship. I use the skills I learnt on the course on a daily basis. We attended an open event for the traineeships as part of my course which also was a huge advantage in finding out about the positions and the skills that we needed for the role."
