Where are they now?

Name: Sarah Whiteside
Course: Horse Care and Equine Management
Where are they now?: Yard Manager / Riding Instructor, Cae Hic Livery and Riding

"After finishing college, I made the decision to open my own livery yard and riding school.

My role involves everything from providing riding lessons, to breaking in horses, carrying out general maintenance duties on the yard and the buying and selling of horses. Things are going really well.

I really enjoyed college, the style of teaching which mixed classroom lessons with practical hands on learning really suited me. I am dyslexic and received a lot of additional support for this, which really helped me in achieving and getting to where I am now."
