Name: Josie Oldfield
Course: Animal Care
Where are they now?: Veterinary Nurse Trainee, Village Vets Practice, Buckley
"I am now in the final year of my Veterinary Nurse training, which means that I will soon be fully qualified. My job involves the general nursing of all animals that come into the practice, assisting the vets in surgery and providing a call out service.
I really loved college. One of the biggest positives for me was how friendly and approachable all of the tutors were. This really helped me to get the most out of the course. I think going to college definitely prepares you for work and going onto further work-based training."
