Forestry and Conservation

As a forestry and conservation student you will gain and develop practical skills, as well as an understanding of theoretical issues within our extensive woodland and farm areas. During your course you will be supported to work towards industry recognised standards. Courses can provide either entrance directly into the workforce, or progression onto higher level courses including entry into University.

Andy has a range of practical forestry qualifications, as well as a Master’s Degree in Environmental Forestry. He has experience of running a small business providing practical and technical support to the public and commercial sectors as well as to various conservation organisations.
