Agriculture

As an agriculture student you will develop practical skills, as well as an understanding of theoretical issues. You will learn on our commercial farm which extends over 920 acres (372 hectares), comprising of lowland, upland and hill and is made up of three main enterprises; a dairy herd of 160 high yielding Holstein Friesian cows plus followers, 2000 breeding ewes and about 200 beef cattle.

Rhian Jones

Rhian has a degree in Animal Science from the University of Leeds as well as a PGCE from Bangor University. Rhian has worked in the Agriculture industry for the Local Authority as an Animal Health Enforcement officer. Rhian is also a farmer's wife and at home farms beef cattle and sheep.
