Motor Vehicle

The motor vehicle training department is recognised as one of the leading automotive training facilities in Wales and the UK with outstanding apprenticeship completion rates.

With the technological advancements in the automotive service and repair industry, it is important that the skills of all technicians’ meets the high standards required and have a thorough understanding of the practical competences needed.

The department offers industry recognised qualifications to support large franchised dealers and small vehicle repairer needs and apprenticeship training in:

  • Maintenance and repair Light Vehicle
  • Maintenance and repair Heavy Vehicle
  • Fast Fit operations

If you work in the vehicle maintenance, repair, fast-fit, electrical or similar automotive industries we have courses running full time, part time day release, and in the evening. We understand the need to be flexible; there are courses to support learners who are school leavers that would like to embark into a career within the automotive industry, technicians who have been working in industry for many years that would like to up-skill to further their opportunities; including time served technicians who have no qualifications at all. Qualified City and Guilds Master Technician lecturers and workshop trainers will give you up to date support and guidance to meet the needs of current industrial practices.

The excellent facilities include modern workshops which are fully equipped with a range of current vehicles and equipment to support all the latest technologies.
