Accounting, Book-keeping, Payroll and Financial Management
Courses leading to the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualifications are delivered on a day release basis from September each year, and last 34 weeks. You will study towards exams which take place in June and December each year.
These qualifications are nationally recognised and will prepare you for a career in professional accountancy. You don’t need any formal qualifications to begin studying for the AAT Accounting qualification. However, if you do have GCSEs, A Levels, a degree or some experience in accounting, you may be able to start studying at a higher level.
Once you have completed the Technician level qualification, you will have the option of progressing onto higher level qualifications such as ACCA, ICAEW, CIPFA and CIMA.
