The catering and hospitality community of the North Wales Coast recently converged on Bodysgallen Hall, Llandudno for the North Wales Coast Hospitality Academy Awards co-ordinated by Deeside College.

Sixteen Foundation Modern Apprentices (FMA) recruited by Flintshire County Council and trained by Deeside College, have successfully secured employment thanks to the training and experiences they have gained whilst on the FMA scheme.

Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal visited Deeside College to officially open the Construction Skills Centre on Wednesday 28 May 2008. During her visit, she enjoyed a tour around the facilities and meet students and staff.

A group of six students who have being studying towards a level 3 Modern Apprenticeship Programme in Administration at the Netcafe in Shotton, have recently passed their administration qualifications with flying colours.
