Local teens get a taste of apprenticeship programmes at Deeside College

Students from High Schools across North Wales have signed up for Deeside College's extremely successful Engineering pre-apprenticeship taster course which will run for seven weeks from 23 July to 31 August 2007. This is will be the ninth time that the course has been run.

Deeside College supports business development for West Coast Energy

Deeside College has recently been successful in securing a Knowledge Transfer Partnership project to support the business development of West Coast Energy, a renewable energy company based in Mold, North Wales. The project will support the development and growth of the company through the deployment of a Marketing graduate, Kevin Pennington, who will implement a range of marketing and promotional activities.

Deeside College wins another award to acknowledge outstanding training links for employers

Deeside College has just won a prestigious fforwm award for providing an innovative network of training for employers which also meets industry sector needs. fforwm represents all colleges in Wales and this award is further confirmation of the outstanding training and education which is provided by Deeside College to support the local labour market.

Employees achieve success in Food & Drink Manufacturing National Vocational Qualifications
