Employer Charter

Acquire Training at Deeside College is a leading provider of training and business solutions. The College has first class links with industry and commerce in a wide range of sectors. This charter sets out the commitments to the organisations we work with and is intended to clearly indicate the standard and level of service you can expect from us.

Our Commitments

Enquiries - we will:

  • Respond to enquiries within two working days.
  • Arrange a meeting within five working days.

 

Training and Development

  • If required our Business Development Officer or subject specialist advisor will visit you to discuss and identify your training need(s). They will then suggest appropriate solutions in the form of a bespoke proposal and mutually agree with you how the impact of the training can be evaluated.
  • Should you accept the proposal we will, were appropriate, issue a contract stating expectations from all parties concerned.
  • We will provide you with a single point of contact. They will manage all your training enquiries and will ensure swift and effective communications.
  • If we are unable to provide a solution we will refer you to either an alternative provider in order to meet your needs.

 

At the start of a training programme - we will:

  • Issue clear and accurate information about the programme’s content, duration, times, assessments/exams and costs.
  • Agree communication channels.
  • Provide qualified and competent staff, who will deliver high quality learning opportunities and services.
  • Our single point of contact will maintain a continuous relationship with your organisation and regularly monitor progress.

 

On completion of the training - we will:

  • Evaluate the impact of the training with both you and your employees
  • Develop any further training and development requirements

 

Feedback

Your views about your experience with the college are important to us. On occasions we will ask you to complete an employer survey about the service you have received with the college and these results will be used to help us improve and enhance our service to you.

If you are dissatisfied with the service you have received please tell us and we will endeavour to bring any issues to a speedy conclusion in line with our general complaints policy.
