Deeside College Supports Apprenticeship Week Wales

Apprenticeship Week Wales will take place from Monday 6th February to Friday 10th February 2012.

Managers going ‘back to floor’, an engineering team challenge and networking events, these are just some of the activities that Deeside College is involved with to show its support to Apprenticeship Week Wales.

Events at Deeside College

Deeside College and its employer engagement department, Acquire Training, are also hosting a number of events during the week:

  • Engineering Week Wales – 7th February at Deeside College
  • Chamber Networking – 8th February at Northop College

National and regional activities will be taking place throughout the Week and include a number of key themes including:

  • Can You make Someone Great
  • Apprenticeships are Good for Business
  • Finding Your Perfect Match

Ben Wins National Apprenticeship Award

Deeside College Motor Vehicle Apprentice Ben Morgan was left celebrating in November 2011 after winning the National Training Federation Wales (NTFW) Outstanding Apprentice of the Year.
