Deputy Director - Healthcare and Childcare

Deeside College, shortly to merge with Yale College to become Coleg Cambria, is an outstanding college with an extensive and successful Health & Childcare provision at all levels from entry to Level 3, and access to HE provision. Both colleges have excellent links with local employers and key agencies in the Healthcare and Childcare settings.

You will provide effective leadership in maintaining and building on our superb track record. Experience within the subject area and a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification is essential, along with a teaching/training qualification. A successful track record of managing in this Area of Learning would be an advantage.

Assessor - Business Improvement Techniques

1 year fixed term contract.

Supporting local industries, you will be required to provide underpinning knowledge in areas such as Workplace Organisation, Continuous Improvement Techniques and Lean Tools.

Assessment of trainee competence and candidate support both in the workplace and in College will be a key requirement of the role.

You must have substantial experience in applying Business Improvement Techniques and preferably hold an appropriate Lean Manufacturing qualification at level 3 or above (City and Guilds, or EAL).

Applicants should hold or be willing to work towards Assessor Qualifications.
