Horticulture Production Unit Assistants (Casual)

You will assist in the Production Unit during the peak season with tray filling, potting, watering, and planting hanging baskets & tubs.
You must be able to work in a team, be flexible to a wide range of jobs, and have good time management skills. Previous practical experience in Horticulture would be an advantage.

Receptionist
Rotating hours covering 8am to 9pm.
You will carry out Receptionist duties and administrative tasks relating to Student Services. You will liaise with both internal and external customers including greeting visitors, handling incoming phone calls via the switchboard, and dealing with general queries at the Reception Desk
You must be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in English and Maths. Previous experience in an office environment including the use of telephone and basic office equipment is essential. Ideally, you will have experience of operating a busy electronic switchboard and other 2-way systems, including radio transmitter and intercom. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.

Hourly Paid Lecturer – Welsh for Adults
Opportunities now exist for part time lecturers who wish to be considered for inclusion on our supply list teaching Welsh for Adults. This is a causal hourly paid position. Candidates must be qualified to at least degree level in Welsh and ideally hold a teaching qualification. Ideally, you will already be working in a teaching/training environment.

Premises Operative, Llysfasi College
To undertake duties associated with providing and supporting the provision of college facilities and support services managed by the Facilities Department. The post holder will be expected to work as part of a team in providing a safe and suitable environment for both learners and staff. In doing so the post holder will be expected to co operate with others, adopt a flexible approach to working hours and the tasks undertaken. All tasks are expected to be completed to a high standard, without the need for supervision and undertaken using safe working practices. The post holder will work on a rota and will be required to work shifts as the rota dedicates. The post holder must therefore be capable and willing to work within a flexible shift working pattern that may be subject to change at short notice. The present system of shift working/standby duties is over a 7 day alternating shift rota averaging 37 hours per week. A full driving license is essential for this role.
