"As we reflect back on 2009, I am very pleased by the outstanding success of our students and staff. Our sector leading team at Deeside College has successfully brought together two colleges following the merger on August 1st 2009, and we now have two main campuses - Deeside and Northop. We are building a stronger college that will provide excellent teaching and learning across North East Wales, as we continue to develop further partnerships with other colleges, schools and training providers.
Our commitment to sustainability and sound financial health are also paramount in ensuring we maintain our reputation as a sector leading college. Our success is due to the dedication of our staff, the commitment of our students and the ambition and support of our Governing body. I am confident as we look back on 2009 that we will build on this success in 2010."
